Chris Lyons is a builder who has spent his career creating products that teams and frontline professionals depend on in mission-critical moments. As President of Scott Safety, he brings a proven track record of scaling businesses across diverse industrial verticals by creating customer-centered, frontline-led organizations where teams are engaged and commercial and operational excellence follow.
Prior to joining Scott Safety, Chris led multiple standalone operating companies within Madison Industries, including TydenBrooks Security Products Group and Brooks Utility Products. At Madison, he was recognized for his ability to lead directly from the front line, focusing on clearing roadblocks so engineering, manufacturing, and sales teams could design, build, and deliver best-in-class products. He spent the previous decade with Marmon Holdings (a Berkshire Hathaway company), rising from an innovation engineer to VP and General Manager of Prince Castle within the Foodservice Technologies platform, and ultimately serving as VP of Commercial Development for Marmon Retail Solutions.
Throughout his career, Chris has managed global manufacturing operations across the United States, Europe, and Asia. Across these chapters, he has driven commercial execution spanning electric utilities, global supply chain security, retail, and foodservice equipment. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Colorado, Boulder, and holds over 20 patents for innovative products serving global industrial markets.
